Journey Day 8 - Sophia Day 3

We had a FANTASTIC family day. Sophia woke up in a good mood, we had breakfast and then went to a buddhist temple and a pagoda that was originally built 400 years ago. Our quide took us to a popular resturant that has a wedding show and Matt was chosen to go up a wed a local girl. This was the best meal we have had on our trip, it was very good. We just laughed and played together, great day.

LaDanta took my thoughts! I was just thinking as I was reading about thanking you guys for sharing this journey with us. I just read and smile and love to see the pictures. It seems as if God truly is smiling down on the Newlins. I loved the pictures of "The Newlin Kids." We keep on praying.

New baby, unplanned weddings, giant incense, my head is spinning, slow down, too much information...

Just kidding, enjoying every minute.

Mikey, I love the look of contentment on your face and Sophia's.

Note to self:

1)buy a dictionary, need more adjectives

2) buy more handkerchiefs

Anxiously awaiting your return,

Another round of hugs and kisses for everyone (except Matthew, he has been busy, ha)

All our love,

ttz

Okay, first of all, love love love seeing so much happy in all the pics! Sophi, you just BELONG with your family - so precious. Second, Matt, I have to say I'm really hurt that I wasn't invited to the wedding. And, I'm very surprised that your parents gave you their blessing when you are still so young. All I can say, Matt, is what happens in China stays in China. Michael, you could not look happier if you tried. The pics of you and Sophi are so darling. You were meant to be her Daddy. Ali, I have this picture in my head of you at the lake on a rock wanting to be closer to God - how does it feel to have Him so near right now with the blessing of Sophi? Sweet Maggie, I wish I could hear your thoughts right now and what you think of your new little sister. E, the long, painful wait is over! My heart is so full of joy for you. My eyes fill with tears every time I think about it! God has given you another beautiful ray of light to embrace. I know you will treasure every single moment. Our God is an awesome God - I am so thankful for this new blessing to your lives (and ours!). Love all of you so very much and still praying every day for you all.

Lots and lots of hugs! GiGi :)
