Journey Day 11 - Last Day in Nanning

Today was our last full day in Nanning and it was a free day. We did not take the bus anywhere so we did not get our camera back, lucky we have several with us. We took a group photo today, we then took a cab and went back to the Wal-Mart area for some shopping and McDonalds for lunch. Came back to the hotel and had some finial paperwork to look over and started packing for the our trip to Guangzhou tomorrow. Had some dinner in the basement Chinese restaurant, went for a walk along the lake and then found a coffee shop to grab a late snack in. Time has gone by fast here in Nanning but we are all ready for a change. This was the kids last full day in their province and tomorrow will be their first plane ride.

Who is watching Sophia?

OK, who's been holding out on me?!

Hanging out in the hall before dinner

The basement Chinese resturant

Looks like a coffee shop back home, but try to read the menu.

I think Matthew wins the award for today for "best photo." It's a tie between Matthew lounging with his little sisters (they look so comfy!) and the photo of Matthew with the teacup (never thought I'd use this word to describe Matthew, but "precious!")

Safe travels, friends....We love you...C

Loving your updates! Are any of the families you have met from Georgia? Made any long term friends? I can see playdates and playgroups in your future! I think Sophia is the prettiest baby in your group, and seemingly the most well adjusted! Do they sell a lot of chicken feet? I'm with Ali...GROSS!
Love you all - Libby

Matt - you are too cute!! Did you really eat those chicken feet? And Sophia is such a beauty. But it does look like it might be time to be moving on. Can hardly wait until this weekend.

Love you - Mom
